Wound Infection

Discover I had infection on my wound last Wednesday when I felt stinging pain at the wound and wound became yellowish and swollen....applied some antibiotic cream (Bactroban) on it and tried to squeeze out the pus from the pen size tip opening at the wound.....Thursday went over for my hydrotheraphy and they asked me go home rest instead fearing the water activity might worsen the infection....did some wound dressing on thursday and again on Saturday..now every alternate days I have to get this done.....yesterday wound dressing and saw that the pen size tip hole had evolved into a cavity exposing flesh and a hole....areas around the stitch also became reddish, swollen and sensitive to touch....applied bactroban again and cover it back up....dunno wat actually went wrong after the removal of my stitch but one thing for sure recovery will take longer then expected now and hope it wun get any worst
