Doc had put me on antibiotic drip (Clox 2mg + Pencillin + ???) every 6hrs interval since warded.....becos my plug was out of place, adminstering the IV antibiotic thru the plug cause pain, swelling, heat near the plug / vein area.......the nurse in ward 44 told me its normal...so I had un-neccessary went thru these pain 4 times before the doc in Operating Theatre discovered the swelling on my hand and redness........change the plug for me and when they adminster the same antibiotic...almost zero pain except for the usual discomfort of the drugs running thru the plug....
But these strong antibiotic is causing my vein to swell easily and had to change plug almost daily......left wrist on tuesday, right wrist on wednesday, right forearm on thursday....later today dunno where they gonna plug me...left forearm most likely.....and all these will continue until next wednesday at least
