Think twice about getting a HTC/Dopod in Singapore

Its lotsa agony and inconvenience for me. All my contacts and customers address are all stored inside the phone as well as some costings in excel and also GPS maps of malaysia. Therefore, the phone served its purpose well for me as a sales person. But recent business trip I've made requiring me to drive up malaysia w/o my phone with the GPS is tough. Also, I've to bring along stacks of namecards and go browse through them to get the contacts I need.
My phone is back in 2nd time and its already 2weeks+ since and as always, the claims that the phone will be ready in 3-5 working days never happen.
I've spent more then a thousand to get this Dopod phone because of the convenience it can brings me but very disappointed at the level of service and support I'm getting. And now we me constant calling, chasing them and going to the SiS office, it had caused more inconvenience and frustration of owning a Dopod/HTC. The trade in value of this phone at major telcos are now only $300-400. Its a year old now since I've bought it and repair cost just to replace motherboard is S$600+++.
