Dakar has left our family 20th Sept 08 11pm

I actually stayed over at Bt Panjang with my mum cos elder bro going for his honeymoon in europe for 2 weeks and we go over to take care of the home and dog.....When home on fri nite after work, mum asked me to sent Dakar (4yr old black and silver mini schnauzer) to the vet as he has not been barking, eating or drinking since Friday nite and puking water every few hours.....but I was procratinating, cos I dun have a car only til sat evening...and need to wash up the dog first too.....so I said Sunday afternoon when I get back from biking, I will do that and prob dog will be much better and might not be neccessary too

Sat was suppose to be a happy day...my stream was repaired...collected my car at 6pm.....total damage S$850...very decent job done, whole car respray, knock front fender, bumper and 2 left door, putty and sand down all other areas...now car look like new again...prob will try to sell off the car soon

Drove home the car, mum asked me again whether want sent dakar to vet, I said we go for dinner first cos I'm hungry and tired, then come back wash the dog up and sent it over to Alvernia or Sunset way vet.......tats the plan, we go eat, then my 2nd bro said go chinese garden to see lantern....we had slip our mind abt Dakar......so we agreed since it would be nice for his kids too with all the lightings and lantern.......once there, so hard to get parking, so i jus alight my bro and mum there and I head to IMM instead....

Stood outside M1 shop, staring at the HTC touch Pro which was just launched in M1 today, been reading alot of review, forum abt tis phone and aiming it for more then 1 yr after launch of HTC TytnII and when my 838Pro abit hay wire wif frequent hang issue...its 19mths old already so abt time to upgrade....thou its still premature and I have to top up S$100 more, but seeing the phone is irresistable.....after discussing wif my fren XL for more then 1hr+ on whether to get it now or wait later and I can save $100 and maybe price will drop....end up, we gave in and jus pay abit more to get what both of us had been waiting for so long

Went back Chinese Garden to pick up my bro and got home at 11.....no barking again...then we realised the dog has no more heartbeat anymore, lying motionless at the kitchen....I can't bear to take photo of it......whole family was sad...then mum start nagging at me, say told me to bring go vet earlier but I kept pushing it to sunday after biking......I jus kept quiet, maybe if we had sent to vet earlier this would not had happened......maybe....but shit happens so no point finding fault...then dad say now we jus have to dispose off the dog, put into a plastic bag or box and find a spot near the forest/woods ard mandai area and can already....mum got angry and scold dad say its not malaysia, and the dog is part of our family, have to give proper burial or cremation at least....so called up uncle to ask what to do and got a number to call...they are professional in handling these issues, helping to cremate or burial, then frame up photos etc together with ashes behind for keepsake and remembrance....we waited almost 3am then they came over to pick up the dog as they had other case too...looks like quite a lucrative business...$150 for pick up and cremation and help to de-register the dog...$100 more for photo work and get back the ashes....finally when all is done, its almost 4am...I jus finished off all the beer in the fridge......and got back to zzz........can't wakeup for riding at nusa today...pro due to the late nite and the beer....

Later going over to farmart to see dog and maybe buy back a dog for my bro.......else he will be jumping mad......but I asked the pro yesterday nite wat could be the cause, it might be becos the dog is too sad that he failed to see my bro for these few days and got depress, dun eat and drink.....then heart got weak and jus stop pumping.....he commented dakar weight is okay or prob abit higher then avg but still healthy, not malnutrition or obese thou....so its really quite sad that he jus go off like tat....I still remember when we first bought the dog and I helped to name it and took care of it when its still a puppy until I shifted out.......we will miss u, dakar

The Days......

Friends was telling me about this movie and finally got to see it today...Lucky me, today is the "premier" at GV Vivocity / Europa.....show started at 7pm sharp (no commercial etc)...and immediately after the show, the crew, cast and director etc came to the front for "blog aloud" or live interview......ppl start asking questions and goodies bags were given......walked out and immediately bought a Audio CD from them and got the director autograph on it..hahaha

The story...well...guess its best for all those to go see it....certainly touches my heart and brings back memories.......very close to those days I must say....then call up my fren to "verify" the bike and characters......true enuff, its real stuff and upmost respect to the director and his brother and frens for sharing this true life story with us....

I hope the next generation will have 2nd thots and changed their mindset abt "brotherhood"...ok....hope u guys can support him so he can bring back more nice movie for us...truely singapore!
